Top 10 Trekking Destination in Nepal

10) Langtang region,

If you want diversity and beauty but turn away from difficulty, this trek would be better for you. Langtang region placed to the north of Kathmandu. The most spectacular beautiful parts of this region trek are Gosainkunda and other high mountain lakes, and the gorgeous mountains themselves, especially at sunrise and sunset. 09) Makalu Base Camp,

Makalu base camp trekking takes as one of the most difficult treks in Nepal cause of the complete remoteness of the area and the days of walking required. However, it has also great reward. The trekker will get to experience of perfect Himalayas and a panoramic view of the Lhotse, Mount Everest and many other peaks from the Makalu base camp at a height of 5000 m above from the sea level. Rara Lake is situated in mugu district in western Nepal, Rara is a very gorgeous lake surrounded by high mountains. It is also the biggest lake in Nepal, covering an area of 10.8 sq. Meters. It lies within the Rara national park which includes a diversity of flora and fauna. This is also a very difficult trek, and is not for the weak heart peoples. Trekkers are encouraged to carry their own equipment and a good first aid kit cause of the lack of health facilities in this trekking area.

07) Dhaulagiri Circuit,

This is also an extremely hard trekking. If you have desired to truly practice trekking in the Nepali Himalayas, this trekking would be better for you. The remoteness of the area is motivated by the landscape. However, for the devoted trekker, the rewards are pretty superb. You will get a magnificent view of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountains that other trekkers can only dream of. 06) Inner Dolpo,

Dolpo lies in the karnali zone in western Nepal; this has been an area full of secrecy and antique Buddhist culture, which is largely Tibetan. The sacred center of this place is the shey gompa, where hundreds of spiritual pilgrims come every year. Dolpo was only opened to trekker in 1991, and was stopped again in 1999 for political causes. It is again opened now; many trekkers come here every year to experience the perfect beauty and culture which this region offers. This region has been exposed in many western & Nepali movies as well.

05) Kanchenjunga Circuit,

This is one of the most exciting treks in the Nepal’s Himalaya. Trekking around the hills of mount Kanchenjunga (8586m), the trekking takes the trekker on a long and challenging walk while visiting both the north and south base camps. It is a popular and challenging trek, which contains many beautiful views of the Himalayas and Sherpa villages.

04) Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking,

Poonhill is a comparatively short trek which can be done in just a week. However, the amount of diversity, culture and pure natural beauty will make great experience of this trekking. From the splendid point of poonhill at a height of 3210 m above from the sea level, one gets to really experience the great beauty of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091 m), and many other mountain peaks in the Nepal’s Himalaya.

03) Manaslu circuit,

Manaslu circuit trek takes the determined trekker around the lower slopes of mount manasalu (8,163 m) through the larky-la pass. The trek lies in middle difficulty category. Tea houses have been built all around the trial of Manaslu circuit, so that trekkers can now rest frequently and enjoy the trek at their own speed.
