Shishapangma Expedition
is a very pleasing
expedition trail in Nepal. Situated in the Tibetan region of China, this
mountain peak reaches 8,013 metres high above the sea level making it
fourteenth highest peak in the world. Mount Shishapangma is the only one eight
thousander peak in the entire China. This particular peak is the highest one in
the Jugal Himalaya Range and is often confused with being a part of the
Langtang Himalaya Region which separates Tibet and Nepal.
Mount Shishapangma was opened for exploration by the
Chinese government after very long than that of the Nepalese mountains. In
fact, it was the last eight thousander to be conquered. This beautiful region
offers exquisite views of the surrounding landscapes. You can easily gain views
of several species of wild lives such as snow leopard, musk deer, white boar
and so on. Along with this, species of birds and vegetation can also be found.
Expedition in
Shishapangma offers an easy
but adventurous mountaineering. It was first accented by a Chinese expedition
team on 2nd May, 1964. This easy trekking trail provides challenging
experiences to visitors. There are several routes to the summit of this peak
among which the northwest face and the northeast ridge are the most active
ones. While making attempts, the Base Camp is usually built at the altitude of
5,000 metres.

01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport [1,338m/4,389ft]. Our airport. representative will meet you in the airport and transfer you to the Hotel. Stay

02/03: Official formalities and paperwork for Tibet visa processing.

04: Drive from hotel to Zhangmu [2350m/7708ft]. Stay overnight at
hotel.

05: Drive from Zhangmu to Nylam [3750m/12,300ft]. Stay overnight at
guest house.

06: Rest day for acclimatization.
Day
07: Drive from Nylam to Shishapangma Base Camp [4950m/16,236ft].
Overnight at camp.
Day
08/09: At the Base Camp to acclimatize and preparing loads to ABC.
Day
10: Arrive at advance base camp [5540m/18,171ft]. Stay overnight at
camp.
Day
11-37: Climbing Period.
Day
38: Trek back to Base Camp. Stay overnight at camp.
Day
39: Drive from Base Camp to Nylam. Stay overnight at Base Camp.
Day
40: Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day
41: Free day in Kathmandu valley. Back to hotel in the evening and
stay overnight.
Day 42: Final departure to the airport as your flight schedule.
