Nepal was once known as a Hindu kingdom. But, in order to motivate in-discrimination among religions, this name to the kingdom was stopped to use. However, the primary religion here is still Hinduism making Buddhist, Muslim and others secondary ones. Beside to this fact, it is equally true that the country is highly rich in cultural diversities. Nepal is a homeland to outnumbered temples, monasteries, historical monuments and pilgrimage sites. If you are already in Nepal, we welcome you to this beautiful kingdom of cultures and traditions.
Most of the population of the country are followers of Hinduism. This makes it very easy to understand the reason for why the number of temples, historical monuments and pilgrimage sites related to Hinduism are higher than any of the territory in the entire world. Sites such as Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu and the Manakamana temple in Gorkha are highly raised by Hindu pilgrims and have been declared as World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO. Pashupatinath temple is a highly preserved area. Pilgrims from various parts inside the country as well as from all around the world come to visit and worship the temple. Shiva Ratri is the major festival celebrated here, which is dedicated to the legendary lord ‘Shiva’.
If you are fond of visiting holy as well as pilgrimage sites, our Hindu Pilgrimage tour package will take you all the way to the major holy and pilgrimage sites of the country and let you explore around these sites along with magnificent views of the surrounding geographical formations.

Mr Bishnu Pokhrel from Gold Mountain Nepal Treks organized for me a very nice trek around the Sagarmatha National Park on September 2014.
I spent 17 days in the Khumbu region with a guide and full lodge accommodation. my itinerary was defined by me and the company provided an English Speaking local guide. We went from Lukla to Gokyo Ri, crossed the Cho La Pass in deep Winter conditions, continued the trekking up to Khumbu Glacier and Kala Pathar and finally discovered a precious glacier valley in the East of Sagarmatha, the Imja Kosi, until Chukkung and the Imja Tsé (Island Peak) base camp, where the organization set a campsite with tents and kitchen for the climbing of this 6000 m trekking peak.
All food and lodges perfectly matched my expectations.
Gold Mountain Nepal also provided me the needed technical gear for climbing the Island Peak, including an experienced climbing guide, plastic boots and high altitude sleeping bag.
Tim's card for trekking in the National Park, SPCC Climbing permit for Imja Tsé and the plane tickets from Katmandú to Lukla (round trip) were also issued by the company.
Gold Mountain Nepal Treks also picked me at the international Airport, booked from me hotel in the city and organized a sightseeing tour with personal guide around Kathmandu before my trek and a farewell dinner before my return.
I really appreciate the work done by Gold Mountain Nepal Treks and I recommend you to book your trek to them. They are responsible and efficient, and have very good prices too.
