Langtang Valley Trek

Langtang Valley Trek is a beautiful trekking trail that lets you explore around the beautiful Langtang Valley that lies in the Langtang region of Nepal. Langtang is an exquisite Himalaya region that offers amazing views of Nepalese mountain peaks. Few hours of drive from the Kathmandu Valley, the route takes you to a completely different place far away from the busy polluted city. It’s kind of pleasing and a silent atmosphere that Langtang Valley offers. If you are among the trekkers who would like to explore around an isolated place along with superb mountain views, this trekking trail might seem the best for you.

Langtang Region is wild as any Tibetan highlands with an idealistic kind of landscape. Also, it’s equally amazing to know that the local inhabitants living in this region are certainly Nepalese, but are from the Tibetan origin. This fact makes them look like the Tibetans in the North. Hence, this trekking trail is a suitable for one who would wish for a short and a moderate trek from the Kathmandu valley including places with Tibetan influence.

Langtang Valley trekking starts from a short scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. This ultimately beautiful place is certainly going to motivate you and boost up your excitement level for this exquisite trekking experience. Upon arrival at Syabrubesi, we starts the initial phase of our trek by heading upward to Lama Hotel. We spend an overnight in this hotel and then ascend towards the Langtang Village and continue our trek until Kyangjin Gompa. We thoroughly explore around this superlative site, and then return through the same route to Kathmandu.

Electricity Crisis Problem in Nepal

It is difficult to told you that Nepal has an electricity problem because Nepal is 2nd richest country in water resource but it is true Nepal still facing the problem. It means there is electricity off for some hours in day and night time. Most of the hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other cities are possible to have no battery backup. In that case Air condition may not work and, sometimes, TV and other electric utensils may not run. Some hotels have possible to run the TV and AC as well. But, only few of them are lies in this standard category.

So, be organized for this while you are traveling in Nepal.  For that situation, we suggested you to bring the flashlight with extra batteries.

Most of the gear is locally contrived. Some Chinese equipment are possible to be more expensive but qualitative. You can take Sleeping bag and down jacket easily on rent. Chisapani-Nagarkot Hiking of Jan-2015

Chisapani-Nagarkot Hiking of Jan-2015

We had a great time in Nepal by Chisapaani-Nagarkot Hiking with “Green Nepal Tourism”. Unexpectedly the weather was also very clear in mid January. Magnificent views of the Himalayan ranges were seen from the top of Nagarkot Hill. The weather was excellent and it was a bit cold. Our guide was very helpful & friendly. We haven’t any complain to the company “Green Nepal Tourism” & Mr. Bishnu (Director of the company), everything were managed as capably and enjoyed the hiking. We are very satisfied with these services provided by the Company. We give you all an idea to trek in Nepal with “Green Nepal Tourism” for reasonable prices & standard services.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking of Dec-2014

From 20th of December 2014 to 5th of January 2015 we went spent some gorgeous weeks trekking in the Annapurna region. First, we hiked to Poon Hill which rewarded us with a very nice sunrise. Then, we continued our trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Both at the ABC and on the way to and from it, we were blessed with amazing sunsets and sunrises. We even saw monkeys and eagles. Views were spectacular and the weather was great.

The organization of the trek was immaculate. All transfers (Kathmandu airport – Hotel – Pokhara– Kathmandu Hotel – airport) were perfectly organized. In addition, both the guide and porter did a great job. They were very flexible and always agreed when we wanted to change the program. This allowed us to reach the ABC two days earlier than planned and gave us more time to visit additional places when going down. We also paid a visit to hot springs which was very nice. In sum, we recommend "Green Nepal Tourism" as a reliable trekking agency which is very eager to comply with the customers’ wishes.

Best regards,

Werner and Heidi
